Coronation Property successfully launched the public sales of 8 Phillip Street. The company fetched $110 million and all units of the luxury tower’s stage 1 were sold in just a matter of hours after the sales opening. Prior to the sales launch, Coronation Property already received 200 expressions of interests and this strong response led to the units for the first stage to be sold outin just a matter of hours. The company received 200 expressions of interest prior to the public sales and many interested buyers even looked into buying units from the Stage 2 of the luxury tower. One of the most notable purchases was made by a local Parramatta businessman, Bob Reiman. He purchased a split level penthouse worth $3 million, setting a record for an apartment in Parramatta. Real estate prices in Sydney have been soaring yet this did not prevent Reiman from making the purchase. At first he wanted to buy a standard apartment. However, he was convinced that buying a more expensive penthouse was a better investment because of the location and the unique offerings of the residential building.
Coronation Property’s 8 Phillip Street is expected to draw in a stronger response from the community after the recent opening of a project gallery and display apartment, which will showcase the unique offerings of the building. Visitors who have made an appointment can experience the services that will be offered at the rooftop bar “Studio 54.” So, how can they do that if the place does not exist yet? Simple. Coronation Property has set up two booths that were integrated with virtual reality technology. The innovation will virtually take the visitors inside 8 Phillip Street and up the rooftop bar. Once they reach the 54th floor, they will be greeted by a host and walked down to their reserved table where they will get to enjoy amazing services and stunning views of Parramatta, Sydney’s Central Business District, and the Parramatta River.
This is only one of the many offerings that the Parramatta community will get to enjoy once the tower is completed. Coronation Property’s Managing Director Joseph Nahas said the 8 Phillip Street would provide unique offerings and that the company is extremely keen to provide this one-of-a-kind experience to the community. The luxury tower will be unequalled on all fronts and that includes its contemporary design and lifestyle offering. Once completed by the end of the decade, 8 Phillip Street will include 300 modern residences with options ranging from studios, penthouses, as well as one, two, and three-bedroom apartments.
Woods Bagot Director Domenic Alvaro was extremely delight because he will be closely working with Joseph Nahas and his team for the development of the project. He said the project’s restrictions inspired them to create a wonderful design, which they submitted at the design competition for the project that was adjudicated by the City of Parramatta. Alvaro was also proud to say that Woods Bagot considered the design, which integrated St Andrew’s Church and St Andrew’s hall into the tower, as a significant milestone for the company. They continue to create designs and integrate heritage buildings as much as they can in different parts of the world like Europe and the United States. Alvaro also added that they made a bold move when they decided to incorporate St. Andrew’s hall and make it as the entrance to the luxury tower. The iconic building also sits on top of the hall, which is the primary feature of its main entrance. Furthermore, the spire of St. Andrew’s Church is featured on the design of the tower. It can be seen in all aspects of 8 Phillip Street. All these were made to encourage the local community to be proud of Parramatta and improve the vibrancy in the area.
8 Phillip Street will also feature a five-star hotel, the QT Hotel accommodation. It is part of the deal between Coronation Property and QT Hotels & Resorts. The five-star hotel will be QT Hotel’s third in New South Wales. It will have 205 standard deluxe rooms, 50 executive deluxe rooms, and two QT rooms. All these will cover 14 floors of the building. The apartment units will cover 35 floors and are located on top of the hotel. It will be home to about 300 residents. The building will also have various amenities like a signature QT bar & grill, several meeting and event halls, a 200-seater ballroom hall, and an alfresco infinity pool.
