About the ACT Division
The ACT Division was formed
in 1986 and works towards achieving overall BSFA goals by promoting building science and a better understanding between the different interests comprising the building and construction
industry. This is done through the dissemination of technical information and discussion of issues effecting building research, practice and construction techniques and networking
of people from a wide cross-section of the industry.
The ACT Division is very
active with more than 230 corporate, individual and student members, and membership enquiries are always welcome.
We provide seminars and site
visits and conducts the annual National Building Science Award and Book Award and the ACT Building Science Study Prize.
